Randfontein reportedly suffers heavy damage following storm

JOHANNESBURG - Reports of heavy damage to infrastructure are coming out of Randfontein, following torrential downpours in Johannesburg.

Reports say that Mohlakeng township in Randfontein has been severely affected by the storm.

Videos supplied to EWN show extensive damage to an apartment block and mall in the area.

Another video of a possible tornado has also surfaced online, which has yet to be verified.

The South African Weather Service said they were still gathering information.
