Kfm & Pepsi launch DJ search ahead of Galaxy KDay 2025

R20 000 is up for grabs for the winning Cape Town DJ, along with a performance slot at Galaxy KDay and an on-air residency.

With less than a month to go until Kfm 94.5’s annual music festival, Galaxy KDay will take over Meerendal Estate –  and it’s going to be an unmissable jol. 

The music lineup is filled with South African superstars such as Nasty C, Mi Casa, YoungstaCPT and more. Pepsi Zero Sugar, the official beverage partner for the event, is set to spotlight even more local talent by launching a DJ search in collaboration with Kfm 94.5.

Aspiring masters of the ones-and-twos are encouraged to submit their best set on the official DJ Search competition page. They'll stand a chance to win R20 000, a chance to perform LIVE at Pepsi’s Galaxy KDay activation, and a month-long residency on Saturday Spin with Jono Duguid. 

Giving us a taste of what the winning DJ could experience, Pepsi called up International Pantsula and a few friends for a sunset party at Tintswalo Boulders Beach. Watch his full set below.
