Man charged with murder of 6 Soshanguve community patrollers

JOHANNESBURG - A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of six community patrollers in Soshanguve.
The accused is set to appear in the Pretoria North Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

He was arrested following the brutal attack on patrollers at the Marry Me informal settlement in Soshanguve last week.
Last week, two men - aged 27 and 50 - appeared in the Pretoria North Magistrates Court.
The State arrested them for the possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
Now, the younger of the men has officially been charged with murder.
This is after he was taken through an identity parade.
