Full Moon Yin & Sound Bath
When: Sunday, 11 May from 2pm to 4pm
Where: Soulfit Studio, 2nd Floor, Adelphi Galleria, 277 Main Rd, Sea Point
About the event: This one’s for the soul-seekers, stillness-lovers, and those needing a cosmic reset.
✨ What’s happening:
-
60 minutes of restorative Yin yoga with Jaun. Yin yoga is a style of yoga focused on deeply stretching and lengthening connective tissues like ligaments and fascia, rather than muscles. It involves holding passive, floor-based poses for extended periods, usually 3-10 minutes. The emphasis is on stillness, relaxation, and allowing gravity to work with the body to access deeper stretches
-
Followed by 60 minutes of immersive Sound Bath therapy with Rudolf. A sound bath is a full-body meditative experience where people lie down and listen to resonant sounds. It often involves singing bowls. Sound baths are said to reduce anxiety, stress and even heal physical pain.
