2 pupils arrested for murder of Grade 11 pupil from Pretoria East school

JOHANNESBURG - Two learners have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Grade 11 pupil from a secondary school in Pretoria East.
The boy was allegedly stabbed by a fellow pupil outside the school's premises earlier this week.
The motive of the attack is not yet known.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo said the suspects would appear in Bronkhorstspruit Magistrates Court on Friday on a charge of murder.
"Police have arrested two learners, aged 19, after a fellow learner was stabbed and killed outside the school premises in Lethabong, Boschkop on Tuesday, 17 June 2025."
