CAPE TOWN - Temba Bavuma and his Proteas teammates are parading the World Test Championship mace through the streets of Langa.
The World Test Championship mace tour has officially begun in Cape Town.
Langa's favourite son, Temba Bavuma, and members of the triumphant team are making their way through the streets with hundreds lining up to catch a glimpse of their cricketing heroes.

Before boarding the bus, which will be touring the suburb, Bavuma shared that he hopes Friday’s event will inspire more children from Langa and neighbouring communities to pursue their sporting ambitions.
"I think for these kids, you know it will be different for them - they see someone that looks like them, they see other players as well that they get to watch on TV, now they get to see them live, they get to see that these people are just like them. It really goes a long way in believing in whatever dreams and aspirations that they have."
