Six men have been linked to the brutal murders, which left the families and the community at large stunned.
The suspects will return to the dock on Friday.
As the mass murder trial concludes its third week, the State will call some of the relatives and family members of the slain victims.
On Thursday, employees of the government mortuary who collected the bodies from the bloody scene testified about the removal and transportation of the bodies.
Some of the victims were not viewed by their families before burial due to the severity of their injuries, as most of them were shot in the head with high-calibre firearms.
State prosecutor Advocate Nkululeko Mathenjwa will lead evidence from the witness.
