CapeTalk's John Maytham isn’t in the mood to tiptoe around Gayton McKenzie.
Watch below:
"I'm not intimidated by you, even though others might be."

Maytham dismissed McKenzie's “strongman lies,” saying that while the Patriotic Alliance may be growing, it’s only because people are desperate, not because the Minister is particularly inspiring.
"Unfortunately, I think it is true that your party is growing, and part of the reason for the fact that they are growing is that people are desperate for the kind of strongman lies that you tell them."
- John Maytham, CapeTalk show host
Maytham also took a swipe at McKenzie's performance as minister.
"Everybody I know, and that's quite a number, in the Arts and Culture world thinks you're a useless minister and isn't impressed by you at all. I hear a litany of promises made and promises broken..."

"The less I talk about Gayton McKenzie, the happier I go to sleep."
