Late-night sleuthing paid off for some South Africans living in New Zealand as they gave the Springboks a warm welcome in Auckland.
The Boks touched down close to midnight local time on Wednesday.

Fans at the arrivals terminal were in green and gold, waving South African flags to welcome the team.

The Springboks are in New Zealand for a double header against the All Blacks as World Champions battle to defend their Rugby Championship title.
The long-time rivals will battle it out at Eden Park on 6 September and in Wellington on 13 September.
Coach Rassie Erasmus says the team is in high spirits.
They will have about 10 days to prepare for the first match.
“We travelled well, and although it’s a long trip… we are excited to be here and we are looking forward to the challenge ahead.
“It’s always tough playing here, but the group is in good spirits and we are fully aware of the magnitude of the task ahead.”
