Black Motion is bringing music, nature and culture together at the Lion & Safari Park with the return of Friends of Black Motion (FOBM), a one-of-a-kind experience celebrating their SAMA31 success.
In an interview with EWN, the pair said they always believed that music should be enjoyed rather than merely listened to.
“Giving our fans something unique and unforgettable is the goal of FOBM’s Safari Experience. The fusion moments of music and environment, groove and nature, are what FOBM is looking for. Lion & Safari Park provides just that kind of energy. Away from the bustle of the concrete jungle, it’s life,” the duo explained.
This weekend, in celebration of the group’s quadruple nomination at SAMA31, the Lion & Safari Park will come alive with a vibrant mix of culture, music and dance, blending electrifying sounds with breathtaking natural backdrops.
FOBM has become more than just a festival. It has evolved into a cultural movement, a playground where emerging artists share the stage with industry heavyweights, where the energy of the present collides with the promise of the future. Each edition pushes creative boundaries, leaving an enduring mark on the music landscape.
To set the tone, Black Motion recently released their latest single, Monateng. They also hinted at joint ventures, surprise drops, and even a preview of possible SAMA32 material.
Their four nominations at SAMA31 - for Best Dance Album, Best Collaboration, Best Produced Album, and Best Engineered Album - affirm the duo’s enduring influence and artistry.
Fans can look forward to a curated lineup featuring both rising stars and established icons, promising a space filled with creativity, excellence, and pure joy. Among those joining are artists from the Intascore pipeline, including JustBali, Charley Dixon, Mbali Nkosi, and others.
"We are cultivating a fresh generation of talent that will shape the next phase of the culture. To sustain the culture, you must plant the seed," they said.
