PARIS - Paris Saint-Germain are set to be without Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes for several weeks after the trio sustained injuries in Tuesday's Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
Ballon d'Or winner Dembele came off after just 25 minutes before Moroccan star Hakimi had to be helped from the field in tears following a challenge by Luis Diaz that led to a red card for the Bayern Munich forward.
PSG on Wednesday said Dembele had picked up a calf injury and would require a "few weeks" of treatment. The France international was starting for just the second time since suffering a hamstring injury while playing for his country at the start of September.
Hakimi was diagnosed with a severely sprained left ankle and faces several weeks out, the club said. He could also be in a race against time to be fit for hosts Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on 21 December.
Nuno Mendes played the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 loss to Bayern but sprained his left knee and will join Dembele and Hakimi on the sidelines.
Their absences add to a growing injury list at PSG that already included Desire Doue, who was stretchered off with a thigh problem in a Ligue 1 game at Lorient last week.
