CAPE TOWN - The State continued to punch holes in alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack's testimony in the Western Cape High Court on Wednesday.

The charges include the murder of top cop, Charl Kinnear, who was shot outside his Bishop Lavis home in September 2020.
Modack remained defiant on Wednesday despite facing tough questions from State prosecutor, Greg Wolmarans.
Wolmarans questioned Modack about his testimony related to co-accused Zane Kilian.
Modack insisted that he paid Kilian to ping the whereabouts of Kinnear because he believed Kinnear was colluding with his underworld rival, Jerome "Donkie" Booysen.
Presiding Judge Robert Henney questioned Modack about evidence of the alleged collusion.
"You would have kept a file and said, 'Look here it is, collusion between Kinnear, Booysen, Lifman, Lincoln'... where is that?"
Modack: "The police should have that, my lord."
Henney: "No, no, no, yours sir..."
Henney told Modack that he found it strange why he would not keep his own evidence of the alleged collusion between Kinnear and Booysen.
