WEATHER: Warm, sunny Friday expected in Gauteng

Tomorrow’s forecast for the Johannesburg area points to a warm and dry day, with skies breaking to sunshine by afternoon, according to AccuWeather.

The high will reach about 26 °C under sunny, UV-intense skies. Winds from the NNW will pick up to around 20 km/h with gusts stronger still, easing somewhat by evening.

Cloud cover drops to roughly 62% by midday, and rain is not expected, with just a minimal chance of precipitation overnight. Night-time temperatures will dip to near 16 °C.

Meanwhile, in Pretoria, the outlook is similarly sunny and summery.

The forecast calls for a high of about 26–27 °C. Skies are expected to be partly sunny with around 47% cloud cover; the probability of rain is negligible.

Winds will stay light and shift from the northeast at roughly 15 km/h. Overnight lows should settle near 16 °C.
