Man arrested in connection with murder of Tembisa school principal

Gauteng police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a school principal in Tembisa.

Officers say four suspects broke into the victim's home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The gunmen shot the man and assaulted his wife and kids before fleeing. 
 
Police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, said more arrests are expected. 
 
"The investigation team followed up on leads, which led to the arrest of the suspect at his home. The suspect is expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 17 December 2025."
