KZN Premier commends law enforcement for festive season crime prevention efforts

KwaZulu-Natal premier Thamsanqa Ntuli has hailed police for their proactive crime prevention methods over the festive season.
On Thursday, Ntuli joined KwaZulu-Natal police top brass including Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi to oversee the police deployments at the Durban beachfront area.
Police have made thousands of arrested for various crime including drinking and driving, murder, rape, and drug related crimes, among others.

Ntuli said "we thank them for the wonderful work that they are doing even the team that is doing rescue, they are doing good work - as the provincial government we are happy with the work of the police that they are doing during this season.”
He added good results have also been yielded.
“We have also been briefed that the crime stats competitively they have significantly shown some decreased which is a good sign that law enforcers are actually doing good work in the province of KwaZulu-Natal to ensure the safety of our people in the province," said Ntuli
