Durban man in critical condition after being attacked by five dogs

A Durban man is fighting for his life after being attacked by five dogs in his yard. 

The incident occurred in the early hours of  Sunday morning in Yellowwood Park, south of Durban. 

Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the victim, believed to be in his thirties, with critical injuries from five dogs.

ALS Paramedics Garrith Jamieson said that it remains unclear whether the man owns the dogs, as the incident happened in his garden. 

"The man had sustained multiple bites to his entire body and was in a critical condition. Advanced life support paramedics worked to stabilise him on the scene before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent care that he required. At this stage, the events leading up to the attack is unknown as the man resides on the premises, however, SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further."
