Two suspects linked to the murder of 77-year-old Johannes de Kokker have been remanded in custody.
They appeared briefly in the Stellenbosch Magistrates Court on Friday.
De Kokker was found dead last Saturday at the Onder Papegaai Berg graveyard, where he had been visiting the grave of his three-year-old son, Werner, who died 45 years ago.
The suspects, aged 20 and 38, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder.
Both accused will remain in custody until 2 February, when Legal Aid is expected to represent them during possible bail applications.
The State said it will oppose bail and that additional charges may still be added.
