Gauteng police have shot and killed a business robbery suspect and arrested two others in Midrand.
Police said they were alerted to a business robbery committed in Olievenhoutbosch, where a Hyundai i-20 was used as the getaway vehicle.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi explained.
"The vehicle was spotted on Allendale [Road] and upon seeing the blue lights, they sped off resulting in a high chase speed and a shootout. The vehicle was intercepted at corner Allandale Road and Waterfall Drive. A firearm and undisclosed amount of cash were also seized," she said.
