Johannesburg will be warm to hot this weekend with scattered thunderstorms, according to AccuWeather.
On Saturday, expect temperatures of around 27°C with an afternoon thunderstorm risk. Sunday will be slightly cooler with a mix of sun and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Overnight lows will stay around 15–17 °C all weekend.
Storm chances remain through early next week with similar temperatures.
In Pretoria, Saturday sees heavy afternoon thunderstorms, with temperatures near 30–31 °C.
Sunday and Monday hold the risk of isolated thunderstorms and warm conditions continuing into the week.
Cape Town’s weather is more settled, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and a light to moderate southerly breeze (around 15–25 km/h).
Saturday will be warm with highs near 28–29 °C and lows near 18–20 °C, with little chance of rain.
Sunday and early next week stay largely dry and pleasant, though occasional clouds may develop.
