Two suspects linked to the murder of 77-year-old Piet De Kokker are due to appear in the Stellenbosch Magistrates Court on Monday.
They will make a second appearance for allegedly killing De Kokker at the Onder Papegaaiberg graveyard last month.
The victim was visiting the grave of his son, Werner, who died 45 years ago.
The two suspects, aged 20 and 38, return to the dock after a murder that has shaken the local community.
De Kokker was killed in cold blood and his body found with an open wound to the right side of his chest, lying next to the grave of his three-year-old son, Werner, who passed away 45 years ago.
The suspects were remanded in custody and Legal Aid may bring a bail application.
In the same vein, the State has indicated that it will oppose bail.
