A man has died and three others injured in a taxi-related shooting at a taxi rank in Killarney Gardens in Cape Town.

Police said unknown gunmen opened fire on the victims before fleeing the scene.

A 39-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.

Three other men, aged between 30 and 43, were left injured.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said Police members were called to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies. The motive for the attack is believed to be taxi related. Anyone with any information about this incident can contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
