The Patriotic Alliance (PA) has extended sympathy to countries in the Middle East, as the conflict between Israel and Iran appears to be spilling over into neighbouring nations.
Iran, Israel, and the United States have been engaged in escalating military action for the past three days, with airstrikes reported between the sides.
Countries in the Gulf, including the united arab emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar, have reported explosions.

It’s understood that the airstrikes in those countries were aimed at the United States military bases located within the countries in the Gulf.
PA spokesperson Steve Motale said it's unfortunate the conflict is now affecting countries in the Middle East that are not directly involved.
"We extend our sincere sympathy to the people and leadership of the united arab emirates, and to other countries in the Gulf and wider region who are being drawn into hostilities despite not seeking war. Reports of strikes, interceptions, and debris causing harm and disruption in places such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai underline a dangerous truth: when conflict spreads, it is ordinary families, workers, and travellers who pay first."
He adds that civilians must be left out of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
The PA condemned attacks that endanger civilians and violate the sovereignty of states not party to hostilities.
"We call on all parties with influence in the region and internationally to prioritise immediate de-escalation, the protection of civilian life, and compliance with international law, including the principles of distinction and proportionality"
