Videos circulating on social media show groups of Iranians performing the viral ‘Trump dance’ following reports of the death of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
World news correspondent Vicki Turner reported that celebratory video clips have been shared on social media of people singing and dancing with Iranian and USA flags.
They are mimicking US President Donald Trump’s famous YMCA dance moves, which he often performs at rallies.
“It seems around the world Iranians are celebrating; they wanted an end to this regime, but I think it is going to be a lot easier said than done.
“[But] this is the part of the war that we haven’t seen so much of. They are saying ‘thank you’ to Donald Trump,” said Turner.
