Zuma Foundation vows to fight on after court dismisses Khampepe removal bid

The Jacob Zuma Foundation said that the Johannesburg High court’s ruling which dismissed an application by former presidents Jacob Zuma and Thabo Mbeki to remove justice Sisi Khampepe as its chair is not the end of the matter.
Zuma and Mbeki, were dealt a blow in their attempt to have Khampepe removed.
They argue that she is biased and will not be able to objectively evaluate their testimony at the commission.

The commission has accused them of using delay tactic, the former statesmen are expected to appear before the commission at some point.
Foundation Spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi said that a decision on whether to lodge an appeal will be taken after legal consultations.
"This will clearly hamper our consultations, but I can tell you know it is not the end of this unprecedented and crucial matter. This ruling at this point doesn't address substantive issue and judicial misconduct and possible criminality. All it does is go to some technicality about procedural matter," said Manyi
