Eskom technicians are carrying out fault-finding operations in the Fourways area after a power outage occurred this morning.
According to officials, the lights went out when a switch breaker at a substation tripped in the early hours of the day.
Technicians have been on-site, and officials report that power has been restored to most areas.
Eskom Spokesperson Daphne Mokoena stated: "Eskom has managed to isolate the faulty area and restore supply to most suburbs, including Fourways, Douglasdale, Craigavon, Fourways Gardens, and surrounding areas.
