Families of Ndlovu, Mdhluli still in the dark about DNA results

JOHANNESBURG - The families of missing journalist Aseri Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, said they still are in the dark about the identity of the remains found in Limpopo earlier in May.
Two skeletal remains believed to be those of the couple were found dumped in an isolated area after a suspect in the couple’s disappearance led police to the location.
While authorities speculated it may be Ndlovu and Mdhluli, DNA tests are yet to be concluded.

The families said that they are in limbo as another week passes without clarity about their whereabouts or confirmation from police about the identity of the remains.
The couple vanished in February.
Four suspects have been charged with kidnapping and murder of the missing couple and will be making an appearance at the Kwamhlanga Magistrate's Court in Mpumalanga this week.
Without the forensic report, it’s unclear whose murder they are charged with.
Despite efforts to fast track the process, the families said they are worried about the drawn-out process.
The families said the addition of murder charges to rap sheets of the accused has only added to the confusion.
Eyewitness News understands that police are still looking for more suspects in connection to the crimes. However, police said they are confident they are close to solving the case.
