Ndlovu & Mdhluli case: Morolong reaffirms govt's intention to address delays in DNA testing

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong has reaffirmed the government's intention to engage Police Minister Senzo Mchunu to address delays related to the DNA testing of remains suspected to belong to journalists Asierie Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli.
Morolong addressed the media outside the Kwamhlanga Magistrates Court in Mpumalanga on Monday, where four suspects in the matter appeared.

He says he is optimistic that the matter of the outstanding DNA results will be addressed as a matter of urgency.
"We are going to be engaging the Minister of Police about the DNA results. We are quite perturbed that the process is quite delayed, it does not help the family bring finality to this matter, so we hope that discussions with he minister of police will yield requisite results."
