Are you a South African citizen younger than 35 without a criminal record? Online applications close on 18 July 2025.

The South African Police Service has launched an e-recruitment drive to streamline its application process for 5,500 police trainees.
The new system went live on 30 June and closes on 18 July.
Done completely online, the drive aims to reduce paperwork, prevent lost applications and improve transparency and efficiency.
Potential recruits will undergo several assessments, which include psychometric testing, integrity assessments, physical evaluation, fingerprint screenings and medical checks.
Who can apply?
Young men and women between the ages of 18 and 35.
What are the requirements?
* You must be a South African citizen
* You must have a clean criminal record and no pending criminal cases
* You must have a Senior Certificate or National Certificate
* Graduates in fields of Law, Policing, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Forensic Investigation, and Information Technology will be considered for specialised units.
