Litsamaiso is boosting its fleet as part of the Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) contract.
As of 15 August, they have brought in 10 new buses, with a plan to add 143 buses by June 2026.
Rikhotso says these are world class buses – similar to those found in European cities.
“We expect them to run for at least seven years.”
- Nelson Rikhotso, Chief Executive Officer - Litsamaiso
They are also introducing a skills development programme exclusively for young women.
