The latest advancement in AI has robots entering the world of sports.

Next month, Beijing will host the World Humanoid Robot Games, where robots will compete in a variety of sports.

As a preview for the games, China hosted 3-on-3 robot soccer matches.

The robots are about 3 feet tall and move very slowly while playing.

“It is a bizarre game to watch. The only thing that is similar to regular football is that they fall over a lot.”

The robots are completely autonomous and designed to stand up on their own after falling.

However, a few robots still had to be carried off the field on stretchers.
