Kelly Rowland’s iconic text to Nelly via Microsoft Excel has been the butt end of many memes and jokes for 22 years.
The Destiny’s Child singer finally addressed the scene in a recent interview with Mythical Kitchen.
She says she gets so much ‘flak’ for it to this day.

When she was asked if anyone pointed out the inaccuracy on set, Rowland says not one person spoke up.
"I’m so used to it now… I’m actually mad at them that they didn’t because they made me look nuts," Rowland says, laughing.
She adds that the moment doesn’t even make sense in the video’s narrative.
Her character gets frustrated that Nelly is not immediately responding to her texts.
“What did you expect? It’s just a draft, my dear,” she says to herself.
