It's been seven months since the Ndimande brothers were officially charged on South African soil for the high-profile murder case.
In November, dramatic scenes played out when the pair was transported from the King Shaka International Airport to the Magistrates Court in Durban under heavy police presence, including the elite Special Task Force.
Police said the pair’s return would be critical to solving the case. They will, at a later stage, be joined to five other co-accused in the matter and stand trial in June.
To date, the State has cellphone records, CCTV footage, bank records, and registrations of the vehicles to be linked to the assassinations.
Since 2025, all the accused have been kept in the super maximum eBongweni Correctional Centre in Kokstad.
