Major outage in Tshwane leaves thousands of residents without power

JOHANNESBURG - The City of Tshwane has been affected by a major power outage which has left 95,000 residents.
Lights across many households and businesses in the capital went out as Gauteng grapples with the cold weather.
Eskom says technicians have been deployed to sort out the issue but Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says it's unclear when power will be restored.
"Areas affected are Mathibestad, Makapanstad, GaMotla, Eersterus, Stinkwater, Dilopye, Suurman, Majaneng, Sekampaneng, Mashimong, Bridgeview, Kudube, Temba, Rens, Hans Kekana and Hammanskraal West."
