South African opera singer Innocent Masuku continues to stun audiences on the Britain’s Got Talent stage.

The 33-year-old was announced as the first act to advance into the finals following his memorable semi-final performance on Tuesday (28 May).

He wowed audiences with a rendition of Hans Zimmer’s ‘Now We Are Free’.

Judge Alesha Dixon described Masuku as a 'powerhouse'.

"How do you sum it up? You're one to beat. Powerhouse! Chills! I had chills up and down my arm. Mesmerised by you and your talent. Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful," she says.

While South Africa is no stranger to the Got Talent series, Masuku has notably fought to the semi-final without any golden buzzers.

Masuku, who hails from Mpumalanga, lives in London and is part of the English National Opera.
