JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is still engaging in consultations to decide on the makeup of his Cabinet.
This was confirmed by Presidency spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, who said the consultations began shortly after his re-election.
Ramaphosa is being sworn in for a second term at the Union Buildings on Wednesday.
He will have to walk a tightrope in the selection of ministers after securing the top spot through a Government of National Unity (GNU) partnership
Magwenya said the president did not want to delay the Cabinet announcement unnecessarily.
"We’ve got an array of complexities this time around in that what the president often does, he will consult with leaders of the alliance, leaders of the governing party; this time around he has to consult even more broadly."
