Social media was a buzz over the weekend after controversies sparked around counterfeit fragrances.
Users questioned the legitimacy of products being sold in South Africa versus products aboard.

Counterfeits are imitations of valuable products with the intention of selling them off as legitimate - this is highly illegal.
Counterfeits can also pose a health risk, containing unknown chemicals.
People who have any issues or concerns with the products are encouraged to return them.
