Video of Taylor Swift dousing kitchen fire goes viral

Pop sensation Taylor Swift has such wide appeal that she's known to affect countries' whole economies when she tours.

But a new video shared by friend and collaborator Gracie Abrams shows that the superstar is just as human as the rest of us.

Celebrating her own new album, Abrams posted videos of the two creating a song together, and then ending up in Swift's kitchen where a fire broke out.

Swift went through all the trials and tribulations associated with this type of domestic disaster - deciding how to put out the fire, struggling to work the extinguisher and dealing with the smoky aftermath.

Never put out a fire like this with water! her friend reminds her.

Swift grabs the fire extinguisher but gives in to frustration and expletives when it's difficult to work.

She does manage to douse the fire eventually, amid gales of giggles.

'Our purses are ruined, and my shoes, and the whole room I think!', says Swift.

The video, of course, has gone viral.

'They are just like US!' comments one gratified fan.

'You're joking, this is magic', says another.
