Anele and The Club on 947 talk more about it.

Listen below.

On 20 July 1969, Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to land on the moon... or did they?

Despite this being a major piece of history, many people believe it didn’t happen - including Anele and Cindy.

“I don’t believe the Americans landed on the moon on that fateful day… Why aren’t we there every day on the moon? Apparently, it’s too risky.”
- Anele Mdoda
“I get why America allegedly faked it… the Cold War was like the ideological war of who is smarter than the other one. I can’t lie, I don’t think it happened… I think the rocket took off, but I don’t think it landed on the moon.”
- Anele Mdoda
“I don’t believe that a cameraman was just standing there filming that moment in which he came off.
- Cindy Poluta

So, do you think it happened? 947’s listeners share their perspectives…

“I read an article where the American flag was waving in the moon landing and someone was like, ‘but there’s no wind on the moon’.”
- Listener
“America uses cheques as a form of payment, no bank transfers, third-party apps when you could’ve simply EFT’d the money… Their houses are made out of dry wood… those are the guys that landed on the moon?”
- Listener
“The people who believe they landed on the moon are the same people who believe Tupac is alive.”
