Matric prelim exams set to get underway on Monday

JOHANNESBURG - Matriculants across the country will sit for their first prelim exam on Monday. 
 
The examinations, which are set up to assist grade 12 prepare for their finals, will run until 18 September.
 
The Mpumalanga Education Department's Gerald Sambo said that the learners should take full advantage of the excercise.

"The preparatory examinations are written under similar condition as the end of the year examintaion. These examinations also offer learners an importnat tool to verify their state of readiness and to provide the required remedial assistance before they can write their final examinations."
