Meet Booshle G...

But before his music career took off, Booshle G was a youth pastor who found his voice through music.

With Nasty C, Casper Nyovest, the late AKA and other rapper alums as role models, Booshle has always dreamt of a life in music.
Booshle says he was never really too academic at school because he only focussed on music and wanted to pursue a career in sound engineering and move to Cape Town to study after Matric.
Booshle was accepted to study for his dream career, but financial strain hindered his opportunity.
Despite this setback, Booshle threw himself into his faith and became a pastor, but through it all, he never forgot about his love and passion for music.
"What changed my life was becoming a youth pastor back home. For the next five years, I was extremely involved in my church... I led worship, I started to learn how to play instruments during this time... and that was what I wanted to do until God said what was the next thing..."

"Then, I moved to PE, got a job and made contact with a producer-friend, and made my first single which was 'Find You There', and last year, we started making music together... I released my first song last year June and I can only say that I've seen God's hand in my life in ways I can never explain and it's been incredible ever since."

"The only thing I know is to follow the voice of God and to do what I feel he is calling me to do. Whatever else happens is not up to me, but to know that it was an intentional move because things are happening as they're supposed to."

What a journey!
Booshle has gained quite the following on social media with people responding positively to his voice and sound which 'tugs' at his heart.
"When you start out, you never really know the full extent of the fruits of the work you put in, so the audience's feedback really tugs at my heart."
- Booshle G
The musician hopes to radiate positivity onto others with his story.
"Help people find the gold inside of them."
