Rassie Erasmus talks about South Africans who support the All Blacks.

"If that's what they feel they want to give back because there was times when they got support... let's give it to them, why would you be upset with somebody if you haven't won them over yet?"
- Rassie Erasmus, Springboks Coach
"If there's something that you can still do to win them over, fantastic. But if there isn't, respect their view as long as it doesn't become messy and uncomfortable."
- Rassie Erasmus, Springboks Coach
"People can support who they want... let them be happy if they win and sad if they lose, just like we are when we win or lose."
- Rassie Erasmus, Springboks Coach

Despite South Africa's history, the Springboks have become a symbol of unity for many South Africans.

Each Springboks player represents so much more than being a rugby player in South Africa because they come from diverse backgrounds.

Rassie understands the significance of this representation, especially when representing South Africa. It’s not just about being world rugby champions; it’s about what the Springboks symbolise for South Africans - unity, peace, and transformation in the present day.

Rassie would love to win over every All Blacks supporting South African, but he deeply understands if that’s not possible.

"It's their choice and they know what would make them support South Africa and if that hasn't happened or cannot happen then let's make peace with it... but it would be great if we won a few over."
