CAPE TOWN - President Cyril Ramaphosa said government will be focusing on incomplete infrastructure projects that have not been attended to in years.
He said some of these incomplete public infrastructure projects have ground to a halt due to corruption and, in some cases, incapacity.
Ramaphosa is currently responding to questions in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
“We are going to be, as I said, focusing on why some of those projects have been abandoned, have been left unfinished because there are reasons. Some of the reasons have to do with corruption, some of the reasons have to do with incapacity."
He said another reason for incomplete projects is the issue of overpricing as a result of fraud and corruption.
