JOHANNESBURG - The Johannesburg EMS Search and Rescue team has recovered the body of a female at the Broadwalk Urban Village complex.

The body was found under the rubble of a roof that collapsed during the blaze.

Around 130 units were destroyed in the blaze which ripped through the apartment block.

Residents of the Broadwalk Urban Village in Midrand are recalling what happened last night when a fire broke out at the complex.

Most of the 130 units have been completely damaged.
