WATCH: Tyla’s pregnancy prank on her mom backfires: ‘I had a feeling for a long time’

During a recent stunt with ELLE Magazine, South African singer Tyla decided to prank her mother.

Little did we know Mama Sharleen Seethal would catch us all off guard – including her daughter.

During the segment Phoning It In she calls her mother to confess that she was pregnant.

“What's wrong? Tyla!?” her mom says on the phone.

“Ma, I think I'm pregnant,” she says.

To everyone’s surprise, her mother did not react negatively or surprised but rather celebrated.

“I’m happy… I had premonitions… just yesterday… I had a feeling for a long time.”

To say Tyla was shocked was an understatement.

She decided to turn it up a notch, adding: “I don’t know who the father is”.

But her mother continued to tell her about her premonitions.

Mama Sharleen definitely is a one-of-a-kind.
