CT police hunting gunman for murder of law enforcement officer

CAPE TOWN - Philippi East police detectives are hunting the gunman responsible for the murder of a law enforcement officer.
 
The 27-year-old was shot and killed in broad daylight in New Eisleben Road on Tuesday.
 
He was off duty at the time.
 
The police's Frederick van Wyk: "According to reports, members received a complaint of a shooting incident at the mentioned address and on their arrival, they found the body of the deceased in a VW Polo. Circumstances surrounding this shooting incident are under investigation. The motive is believed to be possible attempted robbery."
