CAPE TOWN - A man has been shot and wounded during a robbery at his Langebaan home.
The victim is believed to be a well-known pastor in the popular West Coast holiday town.
Police are investigating cases of house robbery and attempted murder, following the incident this past weekend.
The complex in which the incident took place, is access controlled.
The police's Frederick van Wyk said that no arrests had been made yet.
"According to reports, two robbers gained entry through a window in the braai area. It is still unknown exactly what happened, except that the 48-year-old man was shot. The robber fled with cell phones and the wife's handbag. The victim is in hospital for treatment."
