French-American rapper Lucas Coly has passed away at the age of 27.
Coly's manager confirmed the artist's passing in an Instagram post on Thursday, 3 October.
No cause of death has been revealed, however, a hashtag that was edited out of his manager's caption (#checkonyourfriends) led fans to believe Coly may have taken his own life.
"My heart feels ripped apart, please do not call me today. I'm going to be mourning. I never felt this type of pain before," Coly's manager wrote in his now-expired Instagram Story.
Coly's final post on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, 2 October says, 'I love y'all' with an orange heart emoji.
Born in France in 1996, Coly moved to the US with his family when he was eight.
Coly began creating music in the early 2010s, with some of his songs reaching millions of views on YouTube and SoundCloud. He is best known for his songs 'I Just Wanna', 'Break Ya Back' and 'Numb', which have 19 million, 11 million and 10 million views on YouTube, respectively.
