Senzo Meyiwa: Reflecting on 10 years since the murder of Bafana Bafana captain

On October 26, 2014, Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa was murdered in Vosloorus. Ten years later, EWN brings together a panel of key voices to look back on the heartbreaking event and its aftermath. 

Kgomotso Modise, EWN’s lead reporter on the murder trial, joins Tholakele Mnganga, the sports journalist who broke the news that night; Vumani Mkhize, former EWN multimedia and radio journalist who was on the scene; and Joy 'MamaJoy' Chauke, a South African sports superfan. 

Together, they reflect on the tragedy and discuss the significant developments since that fateful night.
