The blood service needs blood group O to donate more because they are able to service all the blood groups.

JOHANNESBURG - With the festive season fast approaching the South African National Blood Service is calling for those who can donate. 

The blood service needs blood group O to donate more because they can service the blood groups.

Senior manager Thandi Mosupye explained how much blood supply they currently have: “We are currently sitting at 4.2 days of cover.”
