With 'Dezemba' in full swing and the festive season in effect, HEINEKEN Beverages is stepping up to show they’re not just about brewing beer but brewing responsibility too.

They've launched a powerful road safety campaign aimed at keeping South Africans safe, particularly during the festive season when accidents are more prevalent.

Whether you’re a motorist or a pedestrian, the message is clear: celebrate responsibly and make it home alive.

But what does it really mean to "drink responsibly," and how can one achieve it?

Maroga breaks it down:

  • Balance alcohol consumption with food.
  • In between alcoholic drinks, slow down and enjoy non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Most importantly, once you've had a drink, don't get behind the wheel.

She emphasises that when consumed responsibly, alcohol can be part of a healthy lifestyle.

HEINEKEN Beverages recently launched their festive road safety campaign, 'Mzansi, Drive Responsibly,' promoting more than just safe drinking.

The campaign, which debuted in Gauteng, will soon expand to other provinces throughout the festive season.

It highlights comprehensive road safety, including urging motorists to adhere to speed limits and take regular breaks when needed.

The campaign's core message is simple: whether you're driving or walking, be responsible. Don’t drink (or walk) and drive.
